The JBHS Vocal Music Associations’ premier mixed show choir, Powerhouse, gave a stunning performance for tonight’s Dancing With The Stars. ABC’s own press release says the following:
This week’s "School of Rock" themed Macy’s Stars of Dance performance will feature all-star kid musicians from national School of Rock and one of the best showchoirs in the country, The Powerhouse Choir from John Burroughs High School in Burbank, California. The number will be choreographed by Travis Wall. The Powerhouse Choir has performed opposite the cast of "Glee" on the Oprah Winfrey Show and was the school that inspired the hit fox television series.
In addition, they’ve performed at numerous national and regional events, including the Los Angeles County Museum of Art for the Gala Opening of the Resnick Pavilion, "The Unmasking," opposite Christina Aguilera and The Canadian Tenors, the Season 2 "Glee" Cast Premier Party at Paramount Studios and the 1st Annual PFLAG L.A. Event at the London Hotel."
