Vocal Ensemble, the a cappella group comprised of members of the advanced Powerhouse choir, will collaborate with William Martinez for four performances of his one-man show, “Signing The Song,” at The Colony Theatre in Burbank.
“Singing The Song” is the true story of a boy who discovers music and voice after growing up in a deaf household. The show brings together American Sign Language and song lyrics for a unique and engaging performance.
Currently rehearsing for the limited engagement, which runs November 1 – 4, Vocal Ensemble is learning sign language to enhance their songs. The a cappella group will perform a two-song pre-show set, in addition to the finale of the show.
