Instructions for Completing Auditions

Part 1

The Vocal Audition

The vocal audition must be submitted as ONE video file in the following order:

  1. Slate (Tell us your name, grade in the fall, voice part, and song title)
  2. Song of Choice (32 bars/90 seconds, must be A CAPPELLA)
  3. “America (My Country, ‘Tis of Thee)” (Any key, must be A CAPPELLA)

We would prefer the video in landscape orientation, framed from your waist up.

You will submit your vocal audition video file after you complete the online application. (Vocal and Dance audition videos will be uploaded separately.)

Part 2

The Dance Audition

You will submit your dance audition video file after you complete the online application. (Dance and vocal audition videos will be uploaded separately.)

Make sure you are recording in portrait mode, and that we can see your whole body the whole time. This includes your FEET!

Part 3

Aural Skills Test

  • Aural Skills Tests will occur during the Live Zoom Workshops on:
    Mon April 26th – Wed April 28, 4pm – 6pm Daily
  • There is no need to schedule an appointment time in advance. 
  • Test will include: Tonal Memory, Rhythm Clapping, and Sight Singing

Where do I send my audition videos?

Once you have completed your Online Application, you will receive an email with links to Google Forms, where you will submit your Vocal and Dance audition videos, separately.
