Want to keep improving over summer break? It turns out there are a wide variety of programs offered by other arts schools and organizations. Here are a few to consider.

Show Choir Camps of America

Week long show choir workshops in Ohio and Illinois. A great way to meet new friends from other show choir schools.

A Cappella Academy

A ten day residential workshop at Mt. Saint Mary’s University in Los Angeles with some of the best in the contemporary a cappella business.

American Songbook Academy

The Songbook Academy is a week-long national summer intensive for high school-aged singers who have an interest in classic Broadway, jazz and popular music, also referred to as the American Songbook. It is hosted outside of Indianapolis.

Grammy Camp

GRAMMY Camp is a 5-day nonresidential summer music industry program for high school students interested in having a career in music. Hosted on the campus of USC Thornton School of Music in Los Angeles, students from across the country apply for one of the eight offered career tracks.

Artist in Residence Workshop, Professional School for the Arts

In this intensive, all-day workshop, Brent Wagner and Hank Stratton will lead participants in all aspects of song performance, from analyzing music and lyrics to specific audition techniques for college admissions as well as for stage productions.
